Do you allow inflatables such as bouncy castles?
These are allowed at your own risk and are not covered by our insurance. You must follow the relevant safety and supervision instructions, and are strongly encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance cover. Please see sections 4 and 10 our conditions of hire for more details.
Can I arrive early to set-up?
Set-up time and clear-up time needs to be included within the time that you book.
Our standard party hire fee/time hours allows for 30 minute set up time and 30 minutes clear-up time, and a 2 hours party. If you think that is not enough, please request a longer booking to include this.
We often have bookings "back to back" with negligible change over time, so it is important that you book enough time to give yourself time to clear-up, clean and vacate.
How do I use the equipment?
Our Information for Hirers document contains information on using equipment and safety requirements for your hire.
In the kitchen there is also a "Premises Manual" folder which contains instructions for items such as the dishwasher, hobs, etc.
Should I bring my own cups/plates for children?
In addition to standard crockery, glasswear and cutlery we also have a box of plastic cups and plates you can use.
This can be found in the kitchen, on top of the fridge/freezer.
Can I bring my own music?
Yes. We have a built-in sound system with Bluetooth connectivity, ideal for playing music from a phone, tablet or laptop. We have PRS/PPL licences for the playing of recorded music.
Do you have chairs and tables?
Please see our venue information page for full details of facilities available, but yes, we have fabric chairs and fold-up tables available.
Unless agreed otherwise, you are responsible for setting out tables/chairs and returning them to there normal locations/store room afterwards.
